T-cell and B-Cell Activation – Components of the adaptive immune system with the main function to secrete antibodies upon activation. T-cells play a central role in controlling and shaping the immune response. Both cell types are critical for the development of several diseases.

According to recent research tumor induced T cell exhaustion plays a role in cancer relapse. Epigenetic regulation is essential for differentiation and function of immune cells and aberrations may result in loss of immune function, which might contribute to disease.
