Stem Cell Transcription Factors

Stem Cell Transcription Factors – Stem cells are a group of cells with the ability to differentiate into other cell types as well as self-renew to produce more of the same cell type. Stem cell regulation properties are subjected to intensive research, and some types of stem cells are already used in therapies including cancer treatment.

Stem cell self-renewal and differentiation are mediated by epigenetic factors including DNA methylation.
